The Birds, Our Schoolmasters
LETTER BY BRIAN MORYKON
Confession: this week I felt neither carefree nor single-minded on Christ. Cares of the world — and phone notifications — threatened to choke out the word of Christ. In such times I feel unfit to write these little intros and pass along resources. But thank God that the truth is no less true even when the messenger has muddy shoes.
We conclude our month on Simplicity with a podcast with someone who is truly living it out. And classic pieces from Martin Luther and Richard Foster, who both pull from Matthew 6 to help us learn from the birds.
May the grace of Christ empower you to live light,
Brian Morykon
