A Posture of Openness to God’s Wonders
LETTER BY BRIAN MORYKON
“Pressing into the season of Lent,” writes Kai Nilsen, “is a creative exercise in God’s possibility of re-birth for you, for the neighbor, for the whole of creation.”
Lent, like the discipline of submission we’re focusing on this month, can get a bad rap. But when seen as an opportunity — rather than as a requirement — it can create space for God to work now in the waiting, and sweeten the celebration to come.
