Spiritual Scorekeeping, Finding Real Friends, and Avoiding Content Overwhelm

Welcome back to Friends In Formation, a podcast where listener questions set the table for conversations on Christian spiritual formation — brought to you by the Renovaré monthly giving community.

We’re thrilled to relaunch the show with James Catford, Richella Parham, and new host Tiana Spencer.

In this episode, three listener questions open up rich conversation about the pressures we put on ourselves in the spiritual life and how to find freedom.

  • How do we keep the world’s measurements and gauging at bay when we seek to draw closer to God?
  • Where are the adults who want to invest time in friendship and fellowship without an agenda?
  • How do I select from all the books and resources available without feeling overwhelmed or condemned by the pile?

We’d love to hear your question! Submit one here.
