The joy of surrendering to Jesus is evident in Jill Weber’s voice. Her “yes” to God took her on an unexpected journey — including helping found the Greater Ontario House of Prayer, and now her work as Global Convener of the Order of the Mustard Seed, a lay ecumenical religious order.
In 2001 Jill Weber helped found a New Monastic Community in Canada, which she led for 17 years. She currently serves on the International Leadership Team of 24-7 Prayer as Director of Houses of Prayer and Director of Spiritual Formation at Emmaus Road Church in Guildford, UK. She is the Global Convenor of the Order of the Mustard Seed, an international lay, ecumenical religious order, and is a spiritual director, educator and author of the book Even the Sparrow – A Pilgrim’s Guide to Prayer, Trust, and Following the Leader.
Nathan Foster is an author and host of Life With God, a Renovaré Podcast. Formerly, he was an Associate Professor of social work and served as the Andrews Chair in Spiritual Formation at Spring Arbor University. He was also a licensed clinical social worker and certified addictions counselor. Nathan has published two books, including The Making of an Ordinary Saint: My Journey from Frustration to Joy with the Spiritual Disciplines.
