Sophia Luke is the Community Engagement Operations Coordinator at Renovare. In this role, she supports the structures that, when operating smoothly, fade into the background and make space for deeper relational and spiritual encounters. As a missionary kid, Sophia grew up navigating various cultures and church expressions, and witnessing how Christ meets people in their unique contexts. Back in the United States, Sophia began her career on staff at a local church; through church-based arts and the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius of Loyola, she developed a passion for the intersection between stories, the imagination, and spiritual formation. She received her MA in Systematic Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Together with her husband Sean, her dog, and two birds, Sophia enjoys a schedule full of life through lots of reading, hosting, and various creative endeavors.
