Important Details

Tuition

The cost for each year of the two-year Cohort is $5,400. This includes all meals, lodging, and teaching at the residencies as well as the online courses themselves.

This does not include books, travel, or any costs associated with finding and seeing a spiritual director during the last 18 months of the program.

When Will I Know If I’m Accepted?

Interviews will take place in February and March 2026. Notices of acceptance will go out in April 2026.

Capacity, Waitlisting, and Deferral

Each cohort has 45 seats. Typically, a few go to previously waitlisted applicants; for the 2026 – 28 cohort, this number is higher than usual, leaving fewer seats for new applicants.

If you are accepted but no seat is available:

  • You’ll be placed on the waitlist. We will notify you by May 31 if a seat opens for the 2026 – 28 Cohort.
  • You will receive an automatic offer for the next cohort. If no seat becomes available, you are guaranteed a seat in the 2027 – 29 cohort (Seattle residencies). In October 2026, you will confirm whether you want to enroll. This functions as a first right of refusal — your seat is secure unless you decline it.
  • You’ll have first-right-of-refusal for up to two additional years. If you choose not to enroll in 2027 – 29, you’ll have the option to enroll in:
    2028 – 30 cohort (US East residencies)
    2029 – 31 cohort (US Central residencies)
