Listening Groups set the table for honest sharing and deep, prayerful listening to each other and to God.
Drawing inspiration from 12-step meetings, Quaker discernment, and Renovaré Spiritual Formation Groups, the 90-minute structure values God's voice over our own and eliminates advice-giving and fixing people.
The best way to learn about Listening Groups to experience one. That's why we created online Drop-in Listening Groups. You can register for a Drop-In group here.
Attending one (or more) of these groups is a great way to discern if committing to a Listening Group is right for you. Please join us as your schedule allows. Meetings are free, and we have different days and times to accommodate various schedules.
Drop-in Listening Groups meet online:
(Times listed in Eastern Standard Time)
- 1st Saturday of the month from 9:00-10:30 a.m.
- 2nd Tuesday from 10:00-11:30 a.m.
- 3rd Thursday from 7:30-9:00 p.m.
- 4th Wednesday from 1:00-2:30 p.m.
Groups are led by one of our experienced Listening Group Coordinators and contain most of the elements you would see in our 1-Year Listening Groups. A video teaching provided in your registration confirmation will help you understand and come prepared to experience the Order of Meeting liturgy and sharing process.
