Cana­di­an cul­ture is shift­ing, impact­ing how our 21^st cen­tu­ry church­es engage in faith, church com­mu­ni­ty, and our pro­grams. As lead­ers in the Cana­di­an church, you know this to be true. If spir­i­tu­al for­ma­tion is the process of being con­formed into the image of Jesus through rela­tion­ship with him, then the local church is foun­da­tion­al in this process not only from a bib­li­cal and the­o­log­i­cal per­spec­tive but also a devel­op­men­tal, rela­tion­al, and mis­sion­al one. Gen­e­sis Sum­mit will chal­lenge each one in their own for­ma­tion as they explore and con­sid­er how for­ma­tion can occur in the life of the church.
